XRAY XB8'26 Alu Chassis - Swiss 7075 T6 (3mm)

The XB8 chassis plate design is updated for the split radio box mounting configuration, featuring dedicated mounting positions for the steering servo box and electronics box. This layout significantly improves overall traction and ensures perfectly balanced left-to-right chassis flex, while stabilizing the steering servo area for consistent steering response.

The revised rear C-holder position further improves traction, while a precisely milled pocket under the clutch bell prevents chassis contact under full flex and protects the pinion gear teeth from damage. Specially milled flex areas and strategically placed weight-reduction pockets fine-tune chassis flex and reduce mass without compromising strength or rigidity.

The chassis is an important component that directly affects the XB8’s handling characteristics. The chassis dimensions and flex characteristics are carefully selected to deliver the optimal blend of stability, traction, and steering precision across a wide range of track conditions.

The chassis is CNC-machined from Premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum with a 3mm thickness. It is precisely machined in low-stress areas and finished with a durable hard-anodized surface to ensure long service life, strength, and consistent performance under demanding racing conditions.
